Zimbabwe

Jeremiah 33:6-9(NKJV)
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’

1 Corinthians 15:33(NIV)
33 Do not be misled, “Bad company corrupts good character.
·        Zimbabwe once considered the breadbasket of Africa had now become the most impoverished of all nations under the leadership of Robert Mugabe.
·        Robert Mugabe has had effective control of Zimbabwe since 1980, 37yrs of rulership.
·        Zimbabwe still has the world's third largest reserves of platinum and was once a huge agricultural exporter sending wheat, tobacco, and corn to the rest of the continent and beyond from its fertile farmland.
·        But under Mugabe's leadership, the country's mining and tourism-driven economy has been laid to waste. Hyperinflation has wiped out savings, unemployment is sky-high and economic output has halved since 2000 while seven in ten in the landlocked country of 16million are stuck in poverty.
·        But today God has heard the cry of the people of Zimbabwe and has come to its rescue.

Isaiah 60:22
“………when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen”.

Psalm 75:6-7(NKJV)
For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
And exalts another.

·        Now is an extremely crucial time to pray and intercede for Zimbabwe.
·        There cannot be a prayer vacuum.
·        We have seen an uprooting now there will be a planting.
·        I have likened the situation in Zimbabwe right now to:

Matthew 12:43-45(NKJV)
43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

·        We now must now look to God and plead with Him so that, that which will be planted will not be worse off than that which has been uprooted.
·        That is why there is need for urgent prayers.
·        We must be watchful and prayerful of what has been birthed and what is being planted right now.
·        May we not allow the enemy to sow even uglier tares while we slumber.
·        The Spirit of God must be found over this nation right now and may the Spirit of God ensure that the right person is selected in the place of leadership.
·         Zimbabwe must not be worse off than before.
Psalm 75:10(NKJV)
10 “All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off,
But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”

PRAYER POINTS:
  1. Thank and praise God for His love and faithfulness over the nation of Zimbabwe for what He has begun God is faithful to complete it.

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

2.      May God bring health and healing and restoration to this land and may He reveal to this people the abundance of peace and truth.
I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.

3.      May God pardon and cleanse this nation of all its iniquities which they have sinned and transgressed against God.

1 Samuel 13:14(KJV)
14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.
   4. Father seek and position a man after Your own heart to be captain/leader over Your people of Zimbabwe.

    5.   May the children of light become more involved in the corridors of power and be the Mordecais, the Josephs, the Esthers, the Deborahs and the Daniels of today, may we not be just onlookers but be part of agents of change as decision makers not just in Zimbabwe but in all nations of the earth.

Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’
     6.      May the name of the Lord be exalted over this nation, for God indeed shall display  and manifest His goodness and prosperity over Zimbabwe.

7.      Remember Calvary Heritage School (CHS) our school in Sri Lanka, that whatever needs to be put in place for the visiting government inspectors that God according to His riches in glory will go above and beyond what is expected, He will provide much more than we could ever think or imagine for this school.
